Maple Syrup Recipes : Main Dishes

serves 4-6
INGREDIENTS:
- 3 eggs, beaten
- ¾ cup milk
- ¾ cup maple syrup
- ½ cup cream
- dash of salt
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- 6-8 slices sourdough bread
Beat milk, maple syrup, cream and spices until well combined. Add beaten eggs and beat til mixture is smooth.
Poke sides of bread with fork, dip into egg mixture (allow to soak in a bit on each side).
Cook on skillet until both sides are nicely browned. Serve with butter and maple syrup.
